Shipping container 20DC – used 2.4 m x 6 m x 2.6 m

The standard Dry Van shipping container, 6 meters long and 2.6 meters high, is one of the most practical and widely used solutions on the market. Thanks to its versatility, it is used not only in international transport, but also as a stable storage space for companies, construction projects or private purposes.

The container is fully enclosed and leakproof, which means reliable protection of the stored material from rain, snow, wind and dust . It is ideal for storing general cargo, tools, equipment or palletized goods.

Doors and handling

Access to the container is provided by massive double-wing doors that can be opened up to an angle of 270° . Such a solution significantly facilitates loading and unloading of goods with forklifts. Locking is done using galvanized locking bars and a rubber seal, which helps to maintain the watertightness of the interior.

The corner elements of the container are designed to allow easy lifting and moving using a crane or handling equipment.

Floor construction

The interior floor consists of a solid steel frame and a supporting grid, on which is placed a wooden plywood with a thickness of approximately 21 – 30 mm . Such a combination ensures high load capacity and resistance to point loads, which is especially important when handling heavier loads.

Steel structure and cladding

The base of the container is made of welded steel construction with a thickness of approximately 3 mm , which provides stability and long service life even with intensive use. The walls are made of profiled steel sheet with a thickness of approximately 1.5 mm . The container is not thermally insulated, which makes it primarily suitable for storing dry goods or materials that do not require controlled temperatures.

Possible design categories

Used containers may be available in various conditions:

• CW (Cargo Worthy) – a container suitable for further international transport, waterproof and structurally sound.
• OW (One Way) – container after one voyage, with minimal wear and a valid CSC marking. Suitable for long-term storage or resale.

The price of the container does not include transportation. Delivery costs are determined individually according to the place of unloading in order to ensure an optimal logistics solution.
